Windy City Linen was founded in 2008 to serve the event linen industry. In just a short time, Windy City Linen became an industry leader.

Rob graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in accounting; Rob spent ten years in public accounting, specializing in small business and tax planning. From there, he branched out and opened a dry cleaning business, where Rob oversaw the day-to-day operations. Taking advantage of an underserved market, Rob and his partner were able to grow the company to one of the largest dry cleaners on the North Shore.
During his time there, Rob and his partners opened up Windy City Linen. Windy City Linen was started to provide a great service to another underserved market. By combining their production and retail experience, Rob and his partners were able to grow Windy City Linen in to one of the premier providers of event linen in the Chicagoland area.
Henry is one of the founders of Windy City Linen and the organization’s Director of Operations. He works directly with department managers to achieve the company goals. Henry prides himself on providing the best products and services, all while maintaining customer satisfaction and retention.
Prior to Windy City Linen, Henry came from a 3rd generation family of food manufacturing. Henry brings a wealth of management experience to the company.
Marcela is the General Manager at Windy City Linen. Bringing along 16 years of event industry experience, Marcela joined the Windy City Linen Team in 2009 as a Customer Service representative.
Through her dedication and passion for service, she has helped Windy City Linen blossom from an up-and-coming company to what it is today: a successful and reputable business. Marcela strives to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through exceptional service.
Debra brings 22 years of linen industry experience to her role as a Windy City Linen Sales Representative. She joined the team in 2009. When not at Windy City Linen, Debra also doubles as a police commissioner for the Village of Island Lake.
Debra is actively involved in many Special Events in her community. Debra is married with four furry children, and is a huge advocate for Save-a-Pet and P.A.W.S. She loves to travel and help less fortunate people.
Rachel graduated from The Ohio State University with a business degree. After working in a family business for nearly 20 years and working for a brief time in the insurance arena, Rachel was able to better understand people’s needs as well as building strong relationships to her clients. She believes one of her special attributes is bringing colleagues together in her industry. Rachel believes that customer service extends beyond the work environment and considers many of our clients friends. This usually goes way past their events.
Rachel considers family to be the most important part of her life. She is most proud of her two children, Marlee and Jarett and has a special place in her heart for her crazy dog, Shadow. Marlee currently attends the Milwaukee Institute of Design and Jarett is a freshman at Deerfield High School. When Rachel isn’t working, she likes to spend time with her family and friends as well as ballroom dancing, traveling, reading, shopping and just enjoying life.
Rachel brought a vast array of business expertise when joining the Windy City team and looks forward to expanding her work experience, while serving her clients as the company continues to grow.
Kathy Carlson has been in the linen industry for 15 years. She brings a vast knowledge of the Special Events industry with her, as well. Prior to joining the team, Kathy worked in the Hospitality industry, specializing in Hotel Catering. Kathy is married; she and her husband Roy love to travel. They also enjoy spending time outside kayaking, boating, snowmobiling, and skiing.
Tera Stamm brings to Windy City Linen knowledge of the Hospitality field in its entirety, a dedication to customer service and a genuine care and concern for meeting the needs of the client. She began her career as a banquet manager for a leading hotel brand and has experience as an Assistant General Manager overseeing catered events and day to day operations. In addition to hotel and restaurant venues, Tera has carried the title of Restaurant/ Catering Manager for the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball organization.
Prior to raising her three beautiful children, she spent four years as a Regional Sales Manager for a linen rental company.
Ashley is our Purchasing Manager. She joined the Windy City team as a part time Customer Service Representative in 2014. She has 3 years experience in the Special Events Industry. Prior to joining Windy City, Ashley was attending Northern Illinois University and is currently enrolled in the hospitality program at the College of Lake County.
