Windy City Linen Terms of Rental
Hours of Operation
Monday - Friday between 8am and 5pm (Central). You may however request a linen order 24 hours a day by filling out our Linen Order Request Form and faxing it to us at: (847) 510-0982. You may also request a linen order by e-mail at : orders@windycitylinen.com. One of our representatives will respond to you during normal business hours. When requesting linen after hours, please be advised that your request will not be considered a reservation until we fax you a Rental Contract.
Established Customers
Upon approval, we will establish terms for business customers ordering on a weekly basis.
New Customers
Individuals may choose to pay either with a check, however we do request that either a Visa or Mastercard remain on file for deposit in case of loss or damage (all credit card orders are subject to a 3% credit charge fee). Orders will be confirmed by fax or e-mail. It is the customer’s responsibility to check the contract for accuracy. Every change in an order will be followed by a new contract.
Delivery & Pick-up
We will deliver your order on the date specified by the contract. Our delivery staff will be happy to go through every order with you to make certain that your order is complete. Once the delivery manifest has been signed, the order will be considered complete. Unless requested, we will do a full reconciliation of your order at our warehouse to avoid the mess of counting on your premises. We will report any missing or damaged items at the time of reconciliation by phone or faxed report.
Customer Responsibility
The company or individual placing the order assumes full responsibility for all rented items. Missing or damaged cloths will first be reported so that you may have a chance to research the issue. Damaged and missing items will be billed at predetermined rates. It is in your best interest to have items ready for pick-up on the date specified in the contract, mainly due to the very real possibility of mold which can easily destroy linen if left uncleaned. All rental items that are held beyond the terms of the contract may be subject to additional rental fees.
Windy City Linen reserves the right to charge the cost of lost or damaged items to the credit card on file. The ordering customer is solely responsible for all rental items. If lost items are found and returned in a useable condition, a credit will be issued according to the length of time they were missing from inventory (less any applicable credit fees).
